I heart all things art

So I am really into fabrics right now. I was going through some fabrics I've bought recently. They either have a really cool texture or an really awesome pattern. I know I've come by my love of clothing honestly. My grandmother had a modeling agency. In a picture perfect world I would have a huge sewing room with every fabric imaginable and endless patterns and all the time the world to play with them. But since that day will never come I will settle for a modest sewing room with fabric and patterns as I can afford them. But I really get in the zone. I get closer and closer to the needle until I realize it's dark and probably time for me to do something productive like....make lunch or something.

So I'm really getting into my Pinterest site. It's really cool. I can see that it's going to be another time-waster. LOL I wish I had a real creative outlet without out deadlines or stress - but that is unrealistic. Even the weddings I play for occassionaly are fun but stressfull. You want everything to be just right. I love music and art in its many forms. Weather its oils, pastels, photography or fabric. God has created such a beautiful world.

Cotton Candy Carla

Okay so I just went to get the title to my car. I was sitting there admiring this woman's colorful hair. It was like red cotton candy on steroids. It was absolutely amazing. Fortunately I was a "send out". A "send out" is a person who has already waited 15 years in line and got all the way to a representative and was told they couldn't complete the transaction because they couldn't read the sellers signature so they "send you out" to go get the required affidavit to prove that John Smith is also know as Jasfadf Sllaksjd (or something like that, his signature was too hard to read) and then you come back and they let you to the front of the line so you don't have to wait another decade.

So needless to say I didn't get to look at Crazy Cotton-Candy Carla for more than a few minutes. But I can say that I was inspired on my way home to roll down the window and catch the breeze...lol.

Oh my goodness! I'm so excited. I finally did it. My first blog. So I'm totally hoping this will be an extension of my Facebook page - funny, encouraging, hilarious, and....ME! So just to set some rules for commenting on my blog (which I hope you all are going to do!).
